Speech-Language Pathologist
Caroline graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Linguistics and a Minor in Spanish. She also received her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from UNC. Caroline has worked with children in the elementary school, preschool, and home settings as well as adults in the rehab setting. She has a particular interest in working with children birth to five with language needs and has experience with children who have autism, Down syndrome, and developmental delay. During her studies Caroline enhanced her Spanish language skills through coursework and a service learning trip to Guatemala, and she enjoys assessing and treating Hispanic children in their native language. Caroline enjoys working in conjunction with parents, teachers, and other professionals in the natural environment to maximize young children’s communication and early literacy skills.
