Gretta graduated with High Distinction from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Communication Disorders. She continued on to the Indiana University of Pennsylvania to receive her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. Gretta has most of her experience working with preschool, elementary, middle and high school students in both the public school and private therapy settings in the states of Pennsylvania, Virginia, Hawaii, and North Carolina. Her clinical experience includes work with children with Developmental Delays, Language Disorders, Articulation/Phonology Disorders, Hearing Impaired, Down Syndrome, Central Auditory Processing, Fluency Disorders, Aspergers, and Autism. She has specialized training in The Picture Exchange Communication Systems, Visualizing and Verbalizing, and Working with Hearing Impaired Students on Language and Communication. However, Gretta’s dedication to working with children reach their true communication potential comes from her own experience of dealing with a fluency disorder. Therefore, she has a personal understanding of the difficulties each individual with a communication disorder must overcome and the power and importance of speech-language pathology. Gretta holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is licensed by the North Carolina State Board for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
