Physical Therapist

Mary recieved her M.S. from the University of Southern California and her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. She has been practicing physical therapy for the past 14 years, specializing in pediatrics. She has experience in both outpatient clinic and community based settings. Mary also has experience working with developmentally delayed children in Bolivia, enhancing her bilingual skills. She volunteered in El Hospital Del Ninos en La Paz Bolivia for one year. Mary is fluent in Spanish and enjoys working with Spanish speaking clients. She also held an assistant adjunct professor position at the Physical Therapy Assistant Program, teaching a course at Lynn University and has co-taught casting and a pediatric competency course at HealthSouth. Mary’s experience includes treating patients with traumatic brain inury, near drowning, muscular dystrophy, cancer, autism, encephalitis, Cerebral Palsy, genetic syndromes, orthopedic diagnosis’ and burn and wound care. She has done research in adolescent scoliosis. Mary is pediatric NDT certified and has training in PNF, SI, casting and splinting and The Interactive Metronome.
