Speech & Feeding Services


 

Speech and Language therapy focuses on the client’s overall communication skills. This includes the development of receptive language (how well the client understands language) and expressive (how the client uses language) communication skills, pragmatics (social language), oral motor function, articulation, speech intelligibility.

Feeding & Swallowing therapy focuses on the client’s ability to safely swallow food and liquid; chew foods; increase oral motor function related to swallowing, drinking, and chewing; and expand his/her volume and variety of food intake.
