Bio

Ashley grew up in Roxboro, NC, and attended East Carolina University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master of Science in Speech Pathology from East Carolina University. Ashley has clinical experience with both pediatric and geriatric populations in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, skilled-nursing facilities, and outpatient and inpatient settings. Her clinical experience includes work with adults and pediatrics with Aphasia, Apraxia of Speech, Articulation/Phonological Processing Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Craniofacial Anomalies, Failure to Thrive, Down Syndrome, Dysarthria, Developmental Delays, Fluency Disorders, Language Disorders, Stroke, Tracheostomies, and Voice Disorders. Ashley enjoys working with families, as well as the interdisciplinary team, in order for each child to meet their goals and perform at their highest capability. Ashley is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
