Debbie has been a Raleigh resident for almost 30 years. She was born in South Carolina but grew up in Eastern NC and Charlotte. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in order to peruse a Masters degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Tennessee. She has worked in a variety of settings including acute care and rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient facilities, private clinics and most recently in an independent Pre-K- 12 school.

Debbie has a great deal of experience working with children who have language based learning disabilities, articulation and phonological processing disorders, and developmental and language delays and disorders. She enjoys working with the children and collaborating with parents and teachers to promote carryover of skills learned in therapy to the home and school environment.
