Bio:

Deborah is originally from the Tulsa area in Oklahoma.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education at Oklahoma Baptist University in 2011 and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2014.  Deborah is particularly passionate about serving children with developmental delays and Autism.  She has had experience in public schools, daycares, homes, assisted living facilities and hospitals.  Her clinical experience includes working with children with Developmental Delays, Autism, Language-Based Literacy Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Mosaic Trisomy 9 Syndrome, Childhood Apraxia of Speech and Articulation/Phonological Disorders.

She has received specialized training in Autism Spectrum Disorders, basic sign language (Signing Exact English), the Picture Exchange Communication System, language and literacy disorders, pediatric language delays and natural learning environment strategies. Deborah also has a love for serving Spanish speaking families with speech and language delays/disorders in their native language.  She has beginner proficiency skills in Spanish and is excited to continue to grow her skills in this area as she serves Spanish speaking families.  Deborah is passionate about working as a team with families to ensure that a child’s maximum potential in communication is reached in order to provide the highest quality of life for the child and their family.  Deborah is licensed by the board of North Carolina and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
