Bio:
Meredith is originally from Tennessee and moved to North Carolina to attend Elon University where she graduated with a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science. She then completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University.
Meredith enjoys working in the pediatric setting providing care to children and their families. Meredith has experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a variety of pediatric settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, and early intervention providing services in the home and daycare settings. Meredith’s primary experience includes working with infants and toddlers in the Early Intervention program and the outpatient clinic setting addressing early gross motor developmental milestones such as learning to sit, stand, and walk among other skills.
Meredith has also completed continuing education regarding providing treatment for torticollis and positional plagiocephaly. Additionally, her experience involves working in the outpatient clinic setting with preschool and school-aged children addressing balance, coordination, and overall strengthening as well as orthopedic injuries. Meredith has a warm and caring personality and enjoys helping children reach their full potential and empower their families with education and tools necessary for carry over at home.
