Bio:
Sarah Smith is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, with a specific focus on the pediatric population. She received a double B.A. degree in Linguistics and Hispanic Linguistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She continued her education at UNC and received her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. She has lived in the Triangle throughout her entire life- raised in Raleigh, educated in Chapel Hill, and now a young professional in Durham!
Sarah is a passionate and compassionate clinician, with experience in a variety of settings and populations, but her graduate education focused on feeding/swallowing disorders within the pediatric setting. She can provide therapy in both English and Spanish. She has experience in schools, hospitals, home-health, and private practice. She enjoys working with children who have feeding and swallowing difficulties due to sensory processing dysfunction and/or oral-motor dysfunction, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and expressive and receptive language disorders.
Sarah Smith es una terapeuta de habla y lenguaje. Ella recibió un título en lingüística y lingüística hispana en 2016 de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte. Ella continuó su carrera educacional a la UNC y obtuvo su máster en la patología del habla y el lenguaje. Ella ha vivido en el Triangle toda su vida- se creció en Raleigh, se educó en Chapel Hill, y ahora una terapeuta en Durham!
Sarah es una clínica apasionada y compasiva con experiencia en una variedad de entornos y poblaciones.
