Bio:
Kristle is a native of New Bern, NC. She received a B.A. in Communication Studies and English from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She also received a Certificate of Professional Writing. Kristle graduated magna cum laude from the University of Virginia with a M.E.d. degree in Speech- Language Pathology. Kristle has clinical experience in many different settings including hospital (acute care and rehabilitation), clinic, public school, private school (for children with disabilities), and the natural environment. Her clinical experience includes work with adults and children with Aphasia, Apraxia of Speech, Articulation/Phonological Processing Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Craniofacial Anomalies, Down Syndrome, Dysarthria, Developmental Delays, Fluency Disorders, Feeding/Oral Motor Delay, Language Disorders, Right Hemisphere Dysfunction, Tracheostomies, and Voice Disorders. Kristle has received specialized training in pediatric feeding assessment and intervention. She is a Hanen Certified Speech-Langauge Pathologist and is a member of the Autism Society of North Carolina. She is passionate about working with children and their families to help them achieve their goals. Kristle is licensed by the board of North Carolina and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
