Allie grew up in Raleigh, NC, and always knew she wanted to end up back in Raleigh post undergrad and grad school. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University. She developed her passion for speech-language pathology through numerous shadowing opportunities and while working with medically complex children who received speech therapy.

Allie has experience working with children of all ages with varying diagnoses such as Autism, CVI, Dysphagia/Pediatric Feeding Disorders, Speech Sound Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and Expressive and Receptive Language Disorder. She is especially interested in Early Intervention, Pediatric Feeding Disorders, and AAC.

In her free time, Allie likes to play with her golden retriever, Harvey, go on walks, hangout with friends and family, and read. Allie is passionate about working with children and building a strong relationship with each patient and their family/caregiver. She is so excited to be part of the RTS team!
