Bio:

Laura has lived most of her life in the Raleigh area and graduated from North Carolina State University with a BA in Spanish and Bachelor of Social Work. She then earned her MS in Communication Disorders from North Carolina Central University, where she focused her clinical and academic experience on bilingual children. She had the opportunity to evaluate and treat Spanish-speaking children in their primary language. Laura has experience evaluating and treating children with a variety of communication disorders including language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, and childhood apraxia of speech. She is passionate about working with the whole family to achieve their goals. Laura is licensed by the board of North Carolina.
