Penny Hage, MS, OTR/L


Penny Hage is a licensed pediatric Occupational Therapist who has vast experiences working with children who have developmental differences.  She is a native North Carolinian having spent her childhood in both Raleigh and Rocky Mount.  Penny has an Associates degree from Peace College as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from UNC- Chapel Hill.  In 1995, she received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from UNC-Chapel Hill.  She began her career as a school based OT for WCPSS treating children with developmental delays and autism.  She has worked in acute care, the Special Infant Care Clinic, and the NICU at WakeMed as well as helping to begin their outpatient pediatric clinic.  Penny worked part-time with Developmental Therapy Services performing multi-disciplinary assessments for WCPSS.  Penny lives in Raleigh with her husband, two kids, and two dogs and really enjoys spending time anywhere with her family.  She and her husband have a passion for medical missions and have traveled to Kenya twice with their family.  She serves as the Champion of the Special Needs Clinic at Tenwek Hospital in Bomet Kenya and is actively involved with Friends of Tenwek which partners with the hospital to help support their ministries from the US.
