Vicki has been in the field of Speech- Language Pathology for over 32 years. She received both her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Speech- Language Pathology and a minor in Audiology from East Carolina University. Vicki has extensive training and experience in assessment and treatment in the areas of Neurological Disorders, Craniofacial Anomalies, Voice Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Language Disorders, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Dysphagia, and Aural Rehabilitation. She has worked with populations such as children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, adults with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease, and Developmentally Delayed preschoolers. Vicki is certified to use Vitalstim for the treatment of Swallowing/Feeding Disorders. In addition to her clinical experience, Vicki has coordinated and supervised programs for undergraduate and graduate students. Prior to opening Raleigh Therapy Services, Inc., Vicki was a manager in the rehab setting for 26 years. She has conducted numerous in-services and training sessions for nursing staff, public school clinicians, parents/families, Headstart Programs, developmental daycares, preschools, and educators. Vicki’s areas of interest include clinic management, clinical supervision, Developmental Delays, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Oral Motor/Swallowing, and family counseling. Vicki is licensed by the board of North Carolina and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
