Bio

Hannah Catherine grew up in Lumberton, NC, where she developed her passion for speech pathology at a young age through shadowing opportunities with a local Speech-Language Pathologist and friend.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University (go pirates!) and Master of Science in Communication Disorders from North Carolina Central University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.  Hannah Catherine is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

During her time at NCCU, Hannah Catherine was immersed into the diverse settings that this field offers including university clinics, homes, daycares, preschools, private practice, public schools and skilled nursing facilities. She began her career as a clinical fellow working with the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities where she provided evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, swallowing and cognitive deficits.  Hannah Catherine is excited to transition back to pediatrics where she has a strong interest in pediatric feeding and swallowing.
